How do I subscribe?
Make a one-time donation of $25 or more—or become a monthly supporter, giving at least $10 a month—and you’ll receive a year’s subscription!
How do I change my subscription’s mailing address?
Simple! Send an email to allanimals@humanesociety.org with your name, membership ID (printed on the top of your magazine mailing label), old address and new address. Can’t find your membership ID? Provide both old and new addresses and we’ll reach out if we need more information.
Can my library or school get a subscription to the magazine?
Yes! We’re pleased to offer free subscriptions to public libraries, schools, prison libraries and more. Have your librarian send their library’s name and address to allanimals@humanesociety.org to get started.
Do you offer gift subscriptions?
We do! Make a gift donation of $25 or more in honor of your friend or loved one, and they’ll receive a free one-year subscription to our magazine.
How do I submit a question or comment to the magazine team?
Email us and we’ll respond as quickly as we can.
Are you on social media?
Yes! Follow All Animals magazine on Facebook for sneak peeks at upcoming issues, entertaining and informative stories from our archives, the latest news from the world of animal protection and more.
Do you work with freelance writers, illustrators or photographers?
Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately, we rarely contract with freelance writers or illustrators, but you are welcome to send a resume and clips to allanimals@humanesociety.org.
What if I’m not a professional photographer, but I have a great picture to share?
We welcome all inspiring photos of wild animals, beloved pets and rescued farm animals. Upload them using our Your Best Shot submission form for possible publication.
Do you accept poetry, essay or article submissions?
Unfortunately, we do NOT accept guest submissions.
How do I submit my book for review or promotion?
We receive a large number of requests for reviews, promotion and partnership arrangements associated with books and other projects. Unfortunately, we are not able to respond to every inquiry individually or accommodate most requests due to space limitations.
If you have a firm contract with a publisher and would like to submit a book or other work for our consideration, please send a copy to:
The HSUS Book Submissions
1266 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450
Washington, DC 20037
Any follow-up should be addressed to booksubmissions@humanesociety.org.
What if I’m willing to donate a portion of the proceeds of my book to the HSUS?
We are not able to accommodate requests for promotion tied to contributions of specified proceeds because of legal and other fundraising compliance requirements. Nevertheless, we greatly appreciate your desire to support our work.
