Why does my credit card statement say Humane World FKA HSUS or Humane World FKA HSI?
As we are changing our name, you may notice credit card charge descriptions will update. Humane Society of the United States donations will now show Humane World FKA HSUS. HSI donations will show as Humane World FKA HSI. FKA is an abbreviation for “formerly known as,” so the phrasing is designed to clarify what the charge is for. None of our program work will be changing. Our new name better conveys the broad focus of our work to end animal cruelty and suffering across many species and geographies.

Does Humane World for Animals make fundraising calls to donors?
Yes. We do telephone fundraising calls throughout the year. We partner with Donor Services Group and Telefund to ask some of our most compassionate donors to deepen their support of our critical and lifesaving animal protection programs. These calls are a very cost-effective way to increase our impact and help even more animals tomorrow and in the years ahead.

How can I raise money on behalf of Humane World for Animals?
You can set up your own fundraiser for animals, either with Facebook or directly through us. You can also use Twitch, a video-streaming platform where millions of people come together every day to interact and make their own live entertainment. Twitch streamers who wish to make a difference for animals by supporting Humane World for Animals during a charity livestream can do so by creating a fundraising event through our secure digital fundraising platform, Tiltify. Through Tiltify, you can click to donate and see your donations add up in real time, receive instant on-screen recognition for each contribution and interact live with Twitch players and special guests.
